Long Term Care Insurance Blog Makes an Introduction

Long Term Care Insurance is an important issue that is finally making its way into mainstream conversation. Just as Ralph Nader has made insurance reform his crusade, mine is to teach people about Long Term Care Insurance, and how we can make Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid better.

As we all know, the "Baby-boomers" are coming closer to retirement age. Without some form of national long term care insurance program, this could have a tremendous negative effect on the United States Social Security system. Perhaps the US government should implement some type of national Long Term Care Insurance system that is paid for primarily with Social Security funds... But we'll come to that later. The point is, we need to come up with ideas that implement long term care insurance, to prevent the younger generations from bearing the financial burden of providing care for our elderly. While I believe that Long Term Care Insurance could be the answer, we also want to think about the other ways to attain the same results. Any ideas you can offer will help a lot!
